Seagull AI Model Licenses and Notices

Effective Date: July 21, 2026

Seagull can download and run third-party artificial-intelligence models. Model weights are not transferred to the user under the Seagull Terms of Use. Each model remains subject to the license identified by its provider and included with, or linked from, the downloaded model.

If this document conflicts with the license distributed by a model provider, the provider’s license controls.

1. Chatterbox

Models: Chatterbox Turbo; Chatterbox (Original English + Multilingual)

The Chatterbox software and model releases identified above permit commercial use, modification, and redistribution subject to the MIT License and preservation of its copyright and permission notice.

2. Qwen3-TTS

Related Qwen3-TTS variants may appear in the catalogue as upcoming entries. A catalogue entry does not mean the variant is enabled or distributed in the current release.

3. OpenVoice V2

Use, modification, and redistribution are permitted subject to preservation of the MIT copyright and permission notice.

OpenVoice may use language-specific base voices or MeloTTS components. Those components remain subject to their own notices and licenses as identified in the third-party software notices accompanying the App.

The Supertonic 3 model permits commercial use subject to the full OpenRAIL-M license, including attribution and use-based restrictions. Those restrictions apply in addition to the Seagull Terms of Use. In particular, the model must not be used for unlawful harm, deceptive or non-consensual impersonation, harassment, defamation, or other uses prohibited by the OpenRAIL-M license.

5. Apple System Voices

Seagull can invoke speech-synthesis voices provided as part of macOS. Apple system voices are not distributed by Seagull and are governed by the terms applicable to macOS and Apple-provided content. Availability and permitted use can vary by voice, language, operating-system version, and jurisdiction.

6. Models Not Included in the Commercial Release

The Seagull catalogue may contain informational entries for unavailable or future models. A catalogue entry does not grant a license and does not mean that the model is included, downloadable, or approved for commercial use.

Models licensed solely for non-commercial use, including models identified as CC BY-NC, must not be enabled or distributed in a commercial Seagull release without a separate commercial license. Models governed by the Coqui Public Model License or another source-available license must be reviewed separately before enablement.

7. User Obligations

Users must review the license shown for a model before downloading or using it. Users are responsible for complying with model-specific restrictions, attribution requirements, acceptable-use conditions, and limitations on commercial use.

Model licenses do not grant rights in a person’s voice, recordings, likeness, identity, performance, or other content used with the model. Required consent and other rights must be obtained separately.
